James Vaughan

James Oliver Vaughan is an English former striker born in Birmingham. He developed at Everton and became the Premier League’s youngest goalscorer in 2005. His subsequent career included spells with Derby County, Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Norwich City, Huddersfield Town, Birmingham City, Bury, Sunderland, Wigan Athletic and Bradford City.

Vaughan joined Tranmere Rovers in January 2020 and retired from playing in May 2021. He later served as the club’s sporting director before returning to Everton in an academy recruitment role.
